Since it was introduced to the market last year, the Kia EV6 has been one of the most popular electric vehicles on the market, and it continues to shine in multiple areas. It delivers buyers the range they want out of their EV while also making sure you get all of the other features and characteristics you want out of your daily driver. We have often talked about the EV6 in the last year. Here we focus on the different battery options and range offered in the 2023 Kia EV6.
2023 Kia EV6 Range Numbers
The new 2023 Kia EV6 comes in two battery configurations with different powertrains.
The entry-level Kia EV6 has a standard range rating of 380 kilometres, while the most efficient version offers 499 kilometres. The Kia EV6 has surpassed its initial range estimates, and for anyone looking for a new electric vehicle, it offers great performance while also standing out with its available range across the lineup.
As mentioned previously, there are two battery options in the 2023 Kia EV6 lineup. The base battery offers a 58-kWh battery that powers a single electric motor which is paired to the rear axle. Two other versions are offered, both powered by a more powerful 77.4-kWh battery which delivers either 499 kilometres of range in the rear-wheel drive long-range trim, or 441 kilometres in the all-wheel drive long-range trim. This model is perfect for difficult Quebec winters. It offers more range than you need, while also making sure that you get AWD stability and safety.
The 2023 Kia EV6 also stands out with how it drives. The handling is exceptional, and regardless of the version you also get plenty of power. The Kia EV6 GT is certainly the top-of-the-line model in that regard with its 576 horsepower and 0-100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds. That said, even the long-range versions are quite fast with a 0-100 km/h time of 5.1 seconds. Contact us today to learn more
