The 2022 Kia EV6 offers nearly 500 kilometres of range

The 2022 Kia EV6 has just received its official EPA range numbers and the all-electric Kia vehicle has surpassed expectations.

The new 2022 Kia EV6 will offer a standard range rating of 380 kilometres, while the most efficient version will offer 499 kilometres. The Kia EV6 has surpassed its initial range estimates, and for anyone looking for a new electric vehicle, it offers great performance while also standing out with its available range across the lineup.

There will be two battery options in the 2022 Kia EV6 lineup. The base battery offers a 58-kWh battery that powers a single electric motor which is paired to the rear axle. Two other versions will be offered, both powered by a more powerful 77.4-kWh battery which delivers either 499 kilometres of range in the rear-wheel drive long-range trim, or 441 kilometres in the all-wheel-drive long-range trim which is sure to be the most popular version of the new EV6.

The 2022 Kia EV6 won't just offer plenty of range, it will also be a very powerful electric vehicle. Estimates suggest that it will deliver up to 576 hp in the Kia EV6 GT, which will power it to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. That said, even the long-range versions will be quite fast with a 0-100 km/h time of 5.1 seconds. Contact us today to learn more
